Structure is one of our all-time favourite add-on in ExpressionEngine development. With the structure add-on, we easily manage navigation, create pages and breadcrumbs. It’s great for assigning any particular template for listings or pages.
This is great news that now Structure is being included in ExpressionEngine Core from v7.1 release. It makes ExpressionEngine more powerful in managing website contents in a structured way.
We use Structure for following purpose:
- Generating & managing dynamic navigation
- Pages hierarchy or tree structure
- Dynamic template assignment for listing and pages
- Managing the content with simple interface of Structure
- Showing breadcrumb for pages
These are just brief. Although Structure is being used for much more.
